Our Work
Physicians experience bias, microaggressions, harassment, discrimination and retaliation. These abusive behaviors are often related to gender, race and/or a professional ethical obligation to do what is right for patients rather than the establishment. These injustices perpetuate inequitable opportunities and adversely impact workplace dynamics, sometimes culminating in wrongful terminations.
The result is often harm to the physician’s self-esteem, well-being, health and career, interfering with both the continuity and quality of patient care. Physician Just Equity was established to provide peer support for physicians and surgeons, Championing a Balanced Resolution for these injustices while also advocating for optimal patient care and necessary institutional change.
